The pendant features a natural icy Guatemalan jadeite that has teal blue color. Depending on lighting, the color may appear with more blue or green hue in person. This is "old mine" jadeite. Although small, the material has very nice icy translucent to highly translucent clarity, extremely fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster! The material is so clear and clean that it appears to glow from within! This is 100% natural with ZERO treatment! This jadeite material is carved into a little Ruyi lock on the front and flat on the back. Ruyi is a mythological Chinese wish-granting amulet. It is often used in jadeite jewelry designs. This pendant comes with a S925 solid sterling silver bail. Chain NOT included.
