Natural Nephrite jade pendant on an adjustable rope necklace. The pendant features a natural nephrite jade that has even milky white color. It is cut into a teardrop shape with rounded corners and edges, and carved with a buddha on the front and a bat on the lower right corner to the buddha. Bat by sound association in Chinese means happiness. This is not a overly large piece but has wonderful thickness. Please refer to the photos for actual measurement. The carving is done by hand with beautiful design and details. The jade is semi-translucent. Despite the thickness, light can travel through it. It has super fine, smooth and pure texture, and great luster. It has an almost soapy feel to it. Please know there are two internal stone lines, one on the left side of the pendant and one towards the bottom next to the "bat". Both are shown and marked in photos.
