Grade A natural icy translucent Wuji Jadeite LuLuTong barrel bead pendant on sterling silver necklace. It features a beautiful barrel-shaped jadeite bead, also called LuLuTong (in Chinese). It is made from natural jadeite material and carved with retro style engraving. The carving and engraving on this piece are all done by hand with intricate details and retro floral design. The material has icy translucent clarity, super fine, clean and smooth texture that looks jelly like, and outstanding luster. This is natural icy Wuji material with very subtle light purple undertone. Wuji refers to black marbling found in jadeite material. Unlike mineral inclusion, Wuji marbling is desirable and often compared to black and white Chinese traditional watercolor painting due to its picturesque patterns. It is also said to possess protective energy. It is on a S925 sterling silver shiny and smooth snake chain necklace with a threader that is fully adjustable up to 17”. The chain is about 0.6mm in thickness. It is really super shiny and smooth. On each side of the pendant there are two spacer beads (about 3mm) that are also sterling silver with silicon stuff inside to hold the pendant in place. The spacer beads are removable.
