Natural grade A Jadeite crescent pendant on 999 sterling silver necklace (WJYH138). It features a beautiful crescent-shaped jadeite carved with two fish swimming towards each other. The carving and engraving on this piece are all done by hand with intricate details and beautiful design. The jadeite is natural with light Wuji and green marbling. Wuji refers to black marbling found in natural jadeite. It is NOT mineral inclusion. It is often compared to Chinese traditional black and white watercolor paintings for its unique picturesque patterns. It is also believed to possess protective energy for its wearer. The material has icy translucent clarity, super fine, pure and smooth texture, and excellent luster. It is attached to a beautiful 999 purity sterling silver specialty chain necklace. It is hallmarked 999 for authenticity. The chain is about 2.2mm in width, well made, smooth and shinny! Sterling silver with 999 purity has more silver content than 925 sterling silver and, therefore, has more weight to it. This entire necklace weighs about 9 grams.
