Large Grade A natural Jadeite Carved Shan Shui Pai Pendant with a sterling silver bail. Shan Shui Pai, in Chinese, means "Mountains" and "Waters". Shan Shui pendant typically has a landscape scenery carved/engraved on a large piece of jadeite. It bears well wishes for one's personal and professional growth. This pendant features a thick-cut Premium quality icy dusty green jadeite that has amazingly pure, fine and smooth texture, icy translucent to highly translucent clarity and incredible luster. The material is so pure and smooth, it is classified as gelatinous texture and lights can go right through it even though it is such a thick cut. The carving is completely done by hand and with beautiful design and intricate details. The jadeite is cut into an oval shape and comes with a sterling silver bail. The bail is nice and large and it can be worn on a chain or a rope necklace.

This jadeite material is 100% natural with ZERO treatment. The entire pendant including the bail weighs about 9 grams. Because the material is so lustrous and reflective, it is hard to capture the beautiful color and carving on it. It is even more stunning in person. The pictures don’t do it justice.
