Natural grade A Jadeite Carved Shan Shui Pai Pendant with a sterling silver bail. Shan Shui, in Chinese, means "Mountains" and "Waters". Shan Shui pendant typically has a landscape scenery carved/engraved on a piece of jadeite. It bears well wishes for one's personal and professional growth. This pendant features an icy jadeite that appears to be white but with very subtle pastel green and light purple undertone. The undertones become more visible when it is against something white such as a piece of paper. This material has very pure, fine and smooth texture that looks jelly-like, icy translucent clarity and incredible luster. The carving is completely done by hand and with beautiful design and intricate details. The pendant comes with a sterling silver bail.
