Natural grade A Guatemalan jadeite coin pendant on an adjustable rope necklace. The jadeite featured has icy translucent clarity, super fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and excellent luster. The material is cut into a coin shape with wonderful thickness (over 5.7mm). Please refer to photos for actual measurements. This is natural Guatemalan Wuji jadeite. Wuji refers to black marbling found in natural jadeite. It is NOT mineral inclusion. It is often compared to Chinese traditional black and white watercolor paintings for its unique picturesque patterns. It is also believed to possess protective energy and ward off negativity. The material also contains teal green marbling which can be seen when placed in front of light. The marbling gives the jadeite subtle blue undertone.

The pendant is called "Mountain Ghost Eight Trigrams Coin", a type of coin that combines elements of traditional Chinese coin symbolism with the concept of Eight Trigrams (Bà Gua) from Taoism, often used in Feng Shui and believed to bring good luck and ward off negative energy. On one side, it is engraved with "Mountain Ghost" wordings (in Chinese characters). "Mountain Ghost", also known as a "killing ghost" or "Shan Gui" is a traditional Chinese talisman believed to ward off evil spirits and bring good fortune, often worn as protection. On the other side, it is engraved with "The Eight Trigrams". These are a system of eight symbols (trigrams) that represent different aspects of the universe. Each trigram consists of three horizontal lines, representing either yin (broken line) or yang (continuous line) energy. It is a symbol of balance and harmony in Taoism. The engravings are done with exquisit designs and intricate details.
