Natural Guatemalan grade A icy jadeite pendant carved Puxian or Samantabhadra (Bodhisattva) pendant with a solid sterling silver bail. This material is natural Guatemalan teal jadeite that has a beautiful blend of light and dark color shades. Depending on lighting, it may appear more blue or green in person. It is old mine/aged jadeite material that is icy highly translucent, and has extremely pure, fine and jelly-like texture and outstanding luster. It is 100% natural and untreated! This jadeite is carved with a Puxian or Samantabhadra (Bodhisattva) and an elephant which is his ride, on the front, flat, smooth and uncarved on the back. Unlike the traditional carving design of figures, this Puxian's head is turned slightly to the side, which makes it the design even more unique. Puxian is the guarding Bodhisattva for the year of dragon and snake. The carving is done completely by hand with amazing design and beautiful and intricate details.
