Natural Guatemalan grade A jadeite pendant with a solid 18K white gold bail. This is not a large pendant but with excellent thickness. Please refer to photos for measurement and size. The jadeite material has beautiful deep Aegean blue color. This is an old mine material with super fine quality. It has icy translucent clarity, incredibly fine, smooth and pure texture that looks like jelly, and exceptional luster! It is so lustrous that it looks as if it has been dipped in oil and so pure that there is no marbling or crystal structure visible. It is carved into a Ping An Kou with a stunning lotus flower on tops of it. The backside of the pendant is flat. Ping An Kou is a donut shaped blessing amulet. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In many cultures, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy. The carving is all done by hand with intricate details. This is 100% natural with ZERO treatment! The jadeite comes with a solid 18K white gold bail. The bail is on the small side and the opening of the bail is about 3.5mm in height. The pendant weighs about 5 grams including the bail.
