Natural grade A Guatemalan Jadeite crescent pendant on 999 sterling silver necklace (B). It features a beautiful crescent-shaped jadeite carved into bamboo stalks. The carving and engraving on this piece are all done by hand with intricate details and beautiful design. The jadeite is old mine material. It has stunning deep blue color, icy translucent to highly translucent clarity, super fine, pure and smooth texture that looks jelly-like, and outstanding luster. It is attached to a beautiful 999 purity sterling silver link chain necklace. The link chain is about 2.6mm in width, well made! Sterling silver with 999 purity has more silver content than 925 sterling silver and, therefore, has more weight to it. This entire necklace weighs about 9 grams. Even though this is a sturdy and solid piece, silver is malleable and can become brittle if bent repeatedly. Please wear with care. The necklace has a 925 sterling silver spring ring clasp.
