Natural grade A Guatemalan carved Jadeite pendant on a rope necklace. This is a good sized and thick pendant. Please refer to photos for measurements. The material is 100% natural and untreated. This jadeite has a unique shade of yellow color that looks like dark green tea. It is also known as "tea yellow" color. It it a rich shade of yellow with dark green undertone. The top of the material has a layer of vibrant yellow color. The color saturation of this material is amazing. The material is 100% natural and untreated. The top of the jadeite is carved with a gorgeous lotus flower and to the left of the flower, there is a praying monk. This type of carving is also known as "Enlightenment". The carving is completely done by hand with amazing designs and intricate details. Despite the thickness, the material has icy translucent clarity and light can travel easily through the jadeite. It has super fine and smooth texture that looks gelatinous, and outstanding luster. The material is so lustrous that it looks as if it has been dipped in oil. With the help of flashlight, some very fine color/marbling lines can be seen deep within the material. They are not cracks.

Above the pendant, there is a sterling silver lotus flower bead with yellow gold overlay. It is on a dark brown colored rope necklace. It is adjustable up to 26” in length. The entire piece weighs about 21 grams.
