Natural grade A Guatemalan icy jadeite coin pendant in solid sterling silver. The jadeite featured has icy translucent to highly translucent clarity, extremely fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and excellent luster. The material is cut into a coin shape. This is not a large pendant. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. This is natural Guatemalan jadeite. It has dark teal green color. Depending on lighting, the color may appear more green or blue in person. Despite the deep color saturation, light can travel through the material completely and easily.

The pendant is called "Mountain Ghost Eight Trigrams Coin", a type of coin that combines elements of traditional Chinese coin symbolism with the concept of Eight Trigrams (Bà Gua) from Taoism, often used in Feng Shui and believed to bring good luck and ward off negative energy. On one side (front side), it is engraved with "Mountain Ghost" wordings (in Chinese characters). "Mountain Ghost", also known as a "killing ghost" or "Shan Gui", is a traditional Chinese talisman believed to ward off evil spirits and bring good fortune, often worn as protection. On the other side (back side), it is engraved with "The Eight Trigrams". These are a system of eight symbols (trigrams) that represent different aspects of the universe. Each trigram consists of three horizontal lines, representing either yin (broken line) or yang (continuous line) energy. It is a symbol of balance and harmony in Taoism. The engravings are done with exquisit designs and intricate details.
