Natural grade A Guatemalan icy jadeite Ping An Kou pendant with a solid S925 sterling silver adjustable chain. Ping An Kou is a donut shaped blessing amulet. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In many cultures, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy. This Ping An Kou is made of natural Guatemalan "old mine" jadeite material that has dark blue color with subtle purple undertone. This material has icy highly translucent clarity, incredibly pure, fine and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. The jadeite material is 100% natural and untreated. It comes with a solid S925 sterling silver threader chain. It is about 0.8mm thick and fully adjustable up to 16". Above the donut, there is a small sterling silver bead as accent.
