Natural grade A Guatemalan icy jadeite “petite” Ping An Kou or donut pendant with a solid S925 sterling silver adjustable chain necklace. Ping An Kou is a donut shaped blessing amulet. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In many cultures, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy.

This Ping An Kou is made of natural Guatemalan "old mine" jadeite material that is naturally bicolored with half of it being light teal blue which darkens and transitions into dark teal green. There is also a small patch of dark green marbling in the darker side of the piece. Depending on lighting, the overall color of the jadeite may appear more blue or green in person. This material has icy highly translucent clarity, incredibly pure, fine and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. The jadeite material is 100% natural and untreated. It comes with a solid S925 sterling silver threader chain. It is about 0.8mm thick and fully adjustable up to 16". Above the donut, there is a small sterling silver bead as accent. The entire necklace weighs about 3 grams. This is not a large pendant and great for everyday wear. Please refer to photos for actual measurements.
