Grade A natural Guatemalan Jadeite pendant on adjustable rope necklace. The pendant is made from a piece of natural Guatemalan old mind jadeite. It has intense dark teal blue color, icy translucent clarity, super fine, pure and smooth texture that looks gelatinous and exceptional luster. The material is lustrous that it looks as if it has been dipped in oil. The material is so pure and clear that it appears to glow on the edges. The jadeite is carved into a Pixiu (貔貅). Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being. This is 100% natural Guatemalan old mine material, with ZERO treatment! This piece is hand cut, carved with amazing design and intricate details, and polished to best showcase its color and quality. Even the teeth and the claws of the pixiu is carved out. This is not a small pendant. Please refer to photos for measurements and size. On top of the pixiu, there is a jadeite barrel shaped bead as accent, in matching color and quality as the Pixiu. The pendant is on a black colored rope necklace that is adjustable up to 26".
