Natural grade A Guatemalan icy jadeite pendant in S925 sterling silver with yellow gold overlay. The pendant features a natural vibrant green Guatemalan jadeite cut into a "mini" or petite Ping An Kou cabochon that is concave on the underside. Please refer to photos for size and measurements. Ping An Kou is a donut shaped blessing amulet. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In many cultures, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy. Although petite, the jadeite featured has stunning vibrant green color, icy highly translucent clarity, super fine, smooth and pure texture and amazing luster. The jadeite is backed with tinfoil. The jadeite is 100% natural with ZERO enhancement. It is set in a lacey design with a crown design bail. The setting is all in sterling silver. There are small cubic zirconia accents in the setting for extra sparkle. This is a light weight pendant, such a pretty and delicate looking pendant.
