Grade A natural Guatemalan Jadeite carved Pixiu and sterling silver petite beads beaded band ring. The ring is a size 7 US on the ring sizer.

The ring features a premium quality light blue color natural jadeite that is carved into a petite Pixiu. Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being, and to ward off negative energy. The carving on this little guy is completely by hand with exquisite design and intricate details. Although small, the carving is on point. The material has icy highly translucent clarity, extremely clean, fine and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and exceptional luster. The band of the ring is made of sterling silver petite beads that are about 3mm in size. By the head of the Pixiu, there is also a solid sterling silver mini tag that has Chinese characters "Xi Le" (meaning happiness) carved on both sides.
