Natural Guatemalan grade A jadeite pendant/charm in sterling silver. The pendant features a natural Guatemalan jadeite carved into a small Ping An Kou. Ping An Kou is a donut shaped blessing amulet. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In many cultures, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy. The jadeite material has very nice icy highly translucent clarity, super fine, clean and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and excellent luster. It has rich dark teal blue color. A part of it has lighter color than the rest. Depending on lighting, the jadeite might look more green or blue. The jadeite is attached to a solid sterling silver bail that has a latch snap closure. You can use it as a regular pendant or a charm on beaded bracelet or necklace. It is perfect for a strand of mini pearls. The opening of the bail is about 4.6mm in height.
