Natural grade A Guatemalan Jadeite "Large" Shan Shui Pai pendant and rope necklace. It features an icy dark dusty teal blue jadeite. It has pure, fine and smooth texture, icy translucent clarity and great luster. On the front of the pendant, it is carved with a landscape of trees, mountains, bridge, a monk crossing the bridge and temples. This type of carving is called Shan (meaning "mountains") Shui (meaning "waters"). It bears wishes for one's professional and personal growth. Shan Shui is one of the most popular designs in jadeite carving and jewelry. The backside is flat with no carving. There are some tool scuff marks and a small and shallow pit on the back which are shown and marked in photos. Please review. This is LARGE pendant.
