Natural grade A Jadeite pendant on an adjustable rope necklace. The pendant features an icy white jadeite that is carved into a Pixiu (貔貅). Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being, and to ward off negative energy. This piece of Jadeite has icy translucent clarity, and super fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and excellent luster. This is all natural material with ZERO treatment! This piece is hand cut, carved with amazing details. This is not an overly large carved piece but with excellent thickness. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. Despite the thickness, light can travel through the jadeite completely and easily. The pendant comes with a brown colored rope necklace that is fully adjustable up to 26.5" in length.
