Natural grade A jadeite pendant with an adjustable rope necklace. The pendant features a stunning icy white natural jadeite with red marbling. The material has beautiful icy translucent clarity, super fine, pure and smooth texture and exceptional luster! Although the red marbling is slightly heated to brighten the color, it is naturally marbled to begin with. Heating treatment is industry accepted treatment as it doesn't change the jadeite property or quality. It is merely a color enhancement treatment. And heat treated jadeite can still be tested as grade A. The jadeite material is cut and carved into a head of Chinese cabbage. And the red marbled spots are carved into little Ruyi's, which is a Chinese mythological wish-granting amulet. Cabbage, in Chinese, has the same sound as "hundred fortunes", and is a symbol of good luck and wealth yielding. The carving is all done by hand with amazing design and details. It comes with an adjustable rope necklace that is up to about 24" in length. This is not an overly large pendant but not small either. And it has excellent thickness.
