Natural grade A Jadeite pendant on a multicolored tourmaline beads beaded rope necklace. The pendant features a beautiful natural jadeite that has pastel light purple undertone. The material has icy translucent to highly translucent clarity, very fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and excellent luster. Although this is not vibrant purple jadeite, the pastel purple undertone is very pretty and subtle and shows a bit of pinkish hue as well depending on lighting condition. It is nice to offer natural purple hued jadeite with such nice translucency and fine texture. The jadeite is carved into a Pixiu (貔貅). The carving is all done by hand with beautiful design and intricate details. Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being, and to ward off negative energy.

The necklace is made of petite sized natural and genuine multicolored tourmaline beads. The beads are about 2.8-2.9mm in size. The colors are amazing including different shades of pink, yellow, green and even blue. The beads are on light pink colored non-stretchy cords. The necklace is fully adjustable from 16.5" to 24". On the ends of the ropes, there are two gourd shaped natural jadeite beads as accent. All jadeite and tourmaline beads used are 100% natural without any treatment!
