Grade A Natural jadeite Ping An Kou pendant on a rope necklace. Ping An Kou is a donut shaped blessing amulet. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In many cultures, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy. The jadeite featured has pastel blue color with small amount of light green marbling. This is a nice sized donut with excellent thickness. Despite the thickness, it has nice icy translucent clarity, fine, smooth texture and excellent luster. Please refer to the photos for actual measurements. The Ping An Kou is entirely engraved, double sided, with beautiful retro style floral design. There are some natural white, and less translucent marbling patches on the donut. The jadeite material is 100% natural and genuine with ZERO enhancement. The pendant is tied onto a dusty blue colored rope necklace, fully adjustable up to 25” in length.
