Natural grade A icy engraved Jadeite earrings with sterling silver earring wires. The earrings feature beautiful natural icy translucent jadeite that have amazing retro style openwork engraving. The engraving is all done by hand with stunning design and intricate details. The jadeite are cut and carved into butterflies. The material is natural light Wuji and have gray color. Wuji refers to black marbling found in natural jadeite. It is NOT mineral inclusion. It is often compared to Chinese traditional black and white watercolor paintings for its unique picturesque patterns. It is also believed to possess protective energy and ward off negativity. The jadeite material has super fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly and great luster. Please know the photos might show blue hue to these but the jadeite don't have blue color in person. These butterflies have nice size and thickness. Please refer to photos for actual measurements.
