Natural grade A jadeite pendant on an adjustable rope necklace with button style closure and freshwater pearl accents. The jadeite featured is an old mine natural grade A jadeite that has pastel blush undertone in color with a few spots of light brown marbling spots. This is an unusual color combination for natural old mine jadeite. The jadeite is completely natural and untreated. The pinkish purple hue becomes more intense under candlelight or artificial lighting. Besides the unique color, it has very nice icy translucent clarity, super fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. There are some natural surface blemishes on the back side of the pendant. It is marked and shown in photos. Please make sure to review.

This is cut into a Ping An Kou which is a donut shaped blessing amulet. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In Chinese culture, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy. The center cut-out of the donut (donut hole) is made into a barrel bead and used as an accent above the Ping An Kou. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. The pendant is tied on a hand-made brown colored rope necklace with a button style closure. The button is made of natural Wuji jadeite mini donut. There are also natural untreated blush colored freshwater pearls in the closure. The necklace is fully adjustable up to 18.5” in length.
