Grade A natural icy Jadeite Pendant with adjustable rope necklace. The pendant is made of a unique bicolored natural jadeite. The outer layer or rind of the jadeite has intense and rich golden yellow color. The inner layer of the jadeite is light beige. Typically, the rind of the jadeite is rough, dull and opaque but this piece's rind is icy translucent just like the inner layer, the entire piece has super fine, smooth and pure texture and excellent luster. The carving artisan artfully reserved the rind by carving it into a lily pad with a Ruyi on the lily pad and a koi fish swimming over it. The backside is full-body light beige and also carved with a koi fish over a lotus flower. Both sides are nicely carved. It is like having two pendants in one. The carving is done by hand with beautiful design and intricate details. This is a nice sized piece with wonderful thickness. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. Above the pendant, there is a natural icy light beige natural jadeite drum bead as accent. It has super smooth and fine texture and nice icy translucency. All gem materials used are 100% natural and untreated. The pendant comes with a light beige colored rope necklace that is fully adjustable up to 26". The necklace weighs about 18 grams entirely.
