Grade A natural Jadeite on adjustable rope bracelet. The bracelet features a wonderfully carved natural jadeite Pixu. It is not a larget piece but with excellent thickness and craftsmanship. Please refer to photos for measurements. Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being. This piece is hand cut, carved with amazing design and intricate details. Even the sharp teeth and the claws are carved clearly. What is so special about this Pixiu is it has a ball (symbolizing a pearl) in its mouth. It is carved within its mouth. It can roll around inside but won't fall out. This type of carving is difficult to achieve and takes time and skills. The jadeite has pastel purplish blue color. It is completely natural untreated. It has very nice icy translucent clarity, extremely fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. The material is so pure and clear that it appears to glow on the edges of the jadeite.

In front of the Pixiu, there is a sterling silver ancient coin bead. The bead is hollow and with satin finish. The bracelet is made of bicolored ropes and adjustable in length between 6" to 9.5".
