Grade A natural Jadeite pendant on a rope necklace. The jadeite featured is cut into a tooth with a Pixiu sitting on top of the tooth. It is said that Pixiu tooth can help bring good luck and protection to its wearer. This piece is hand cut, carved, and polished with beautiful design and intricate details. The jadeite is natural light Wuji material. Wuji refers to black marbling found in natural jadeite. It is NOT mineral inclusion. It is often compared to Chinese traditional black and white watercolor paintings for its unique picturesque patterns. It is also believed to possess protective energy and ward off negativity. This jadeite has beautiful icy translucent clarity, super fine, smooth and pure texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. It has a natural icy Wuji drum bead on top of the pendant as accent. The bead has matching quality as the Pixiu tooth. The necklace weighs about 18 grams!
