Natural grade A Jadeite pendant with 18K white gold bail. The pendant is made from a piece of natural old mind jadeite. It has soft pastel blue color, icy translucent clarity, extremely fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly and excellent luster. The jadeite is carved into a Pixiu (貔貅). Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being, and to ward off negative energy. This is 100% natural old mine material, with ZERO treatment! This piece is hand cut, carved with amazing design and intricate details, and polished to best showcase its color and quality. Even the teeth and the claws of the pixiu are carved out.
