Natural grade A icy jadeite carved Ruyi lock attached to interlocking links with solid sterling silver necklace and natural multicolored tourmaline accents. The necklace features a piece of carved jadeite that appears pure white in color but with very subtle pastel blue undertone. The undertone is more visible when it is under candlelight or against something white, like a piece of paper. The jadeite is 100% natural with zero treatment. The jadeite has very nice icy translucent clarity, extremely fine, clean and pure texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. It is carved into a Ruyi lock attached to interlocking links. Ruyi is a Chinese mythological wish-granting blessing amulet. The entire piece is hand carved interlocking and as one piece. This type of carving is very complex and extremely time consuming and generates a lot of waste. This is usually done by very experienced and skilled carving artisans only. The carving is double sided with beautiful design and intricate details. The Ruyi is not overly large but with nice thickness. Please refer to photos for actual measurements.

The jadeite is attached to a sterling silver rolo style chain. The chain has two hook clasps on either end which are used to attach to the jadeite piece. They are easy to operate and secure. On the chain, there are also natural and genuine multicolored tourmaline beads as accent. The sterling silver chain has vintage finish which matches the overall retro design of the necklace. The entire necklace is about 19" in length and weighs about 14 grams. The rolo chain is about 3 mm in width. Please check out all the pictures for details, size and measurements.
