Natural grade A jadeite pendant with sterling silver accent on an adjustable rope necklace. The jadeite featured is natural "old mine" material. It has beautiful pastel blue color. This is not an overly large pendant but with amazing thickness. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. It is carved with a nine-tailed fox curled up sleeping among cherry blossoms. The backside is fully carved as well. The carving is all done by hand with beautiful design and intricate details. The material has very nice icy translucent clarity, super fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and excellent luster. Despite the thickness, light can travel through the material completely and easily. Above the jadeite, there is a Pandora style sterling silver (with yellow gold overlay) charm in a cherry blossom design and a natural Guatemalan pastel teal blue jadeite cabochon set in the middle. Although small, the cabochon has outstanding icy transparent clarity, super fine texture and amazing luster. It is so clear and pure that it appears to glow. The pendant comes with a light beige colored rope necklace that is fully adjustable up to 26" in length. The entire pendant weighs about 12 grams.
