Natural Grade A jadeite carved Tang Horse pendant on a rope necklace. The pendant is carved out of a natural Wuji jadeite. Wuji refers to black marbling found in natural jadeite. It is NOT mineral inclusion. It is often compared to Chinese traditional black and white watercolor paintings for its unique picturesque patterns. It is also believed to possess protective energy and ward off negativity.

The design of the carving is inspired by horse sculptures from the Tang Dynasty and is done all by hand with intricate details. The material has beautiful icy translucent clarity, incredibly smooth, fine texture that looks gelatinous, and excellent luster. Despite the dark color and the thickness of the material, light can travel through completely and easily. This is "old mine" material which is why the material is so fine and translucent. This is 100% natural with ZERO enhancement. Please refer to photos for measurements. On top of the horse, there is a natural icy pastel green colored jadeite drum bead as accent.
