Natural grade A jadeite pendant with an adjustable rope necklace. The jadeite material looks icy white in color but actually with very subtle light blue undertone. The undertone shows up more when it is placed against something white like a piece of paper. It has nice icy translucent to highly translucent clarity, very fine, smooth and even texture that looks like jelly, and excellent luster! Ping An Kou is a donut shaped blessing amulet. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In many cultures, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy. This is a nice and large sized Ping An Kou with excellent thickness. It is about 31.4x31.4mm in size and 6.2mm in thickness (golden standard for Ping An Kou thickness is over 5mm). The jadeite is 100% natural with ZERO treatment! The pendant is tied onto an olive green colored rope necklace that is fully adjustable up to 25” in length. The necklace weighs about 14 grams.
