Grade A natural Jadeite carved and engraved Shan Shui Pai Pendant with adjustable rope necklace and bodhi seed bead accent. Shan Shui, in Chinese, means "Mountains" and "Waters". Shan Shui pendant typically has a landscape scenery carved/engraved on a piece of jadeite. It bears well wishes for one's personal and professional growth. The carving and engraving on this piece is completely done by hand with beautiful design and intricate designs.

This pendant features a unique jadeite material. It has a layer of icy intense yellow color, so intense that it looks more like caramel color. Besides the stunning color, the outer layer also has icy translucent clarity, super fine and smooth texture and outstanding luster. The rest of the jadeite has light/pastel yellow color and is more opaque in clarity. On the backside, there are some surface blemishes (tiny pits) which are commonly seen for natural yellow or red material. This is 100% natural and untreated. The jadeite is cut into a nice sized teardrop shape with wonderful thickness, over 13mm! Above the jadeite, there is a bodhi seed drum shaped bead as accent. The pendant is on a brown colored rope necklace. That is fully adjustable up to 26" in length. The necklace weighs about 25 grams entirely! Please review all photos for details and measurements.
