Natural grade A Jadeite pendant with a solid sterling silver bail. The pendant features a beautiful natural icy jadeite that is white in color. It is carved into a Ruyi. Ruyi is a mythological wish granting blessing amulet. It is often used in jadeite carving. This material has icy translucent to highly translucent clarity, fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. Some crystal structure can be seen when light shines from behind and through the material. Toward the upper right side edge of the pendant, there is a small area that contains some light Wuji marbling spots. This can be seen in photos and video. This is a nice sized pendant with good thickness. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. The jadeite is 100% natural with ZERO treatment! It comes with a solid and heavy duty sterling silver bail with small Ruyi designs. The entire pendant weighs about 5 grams. Chain NOT included.
