Natural grade A Jadeite crescent pendant on 999 sterling silver necklace and 925 sterling silver closure. It features a beautiful crescent-shaped jadeite carved with retro style feather design. The carving is double sided and done by hand with beautiful design and details. The jadeite is natural icy white with subtle pastel green undertone. The material has very nice icy highly translucent clarity, incredibly fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. It is attached to a beautiful 999 purity sterling silver specialty chain necklace with 925 sterling silver closure and extension chain. The necklace is about 2.2mm in width, well made, smooth and shinny! Sterling silver with 999 purity has more silver content than 925 sterling silver and, therefore, has more weight to it. This entire necklace weighs about 8 grams entirely. Even though this is a sturdy and solid piece, silver is malleable and can become brittle if bent repeatedly. Please wear with care. The necklace has a natural jadeite cherry blossom charm on the end of the extension chain. The charm is made of light green jadeite with green marbling. The clasp can hook on any link so it is fully adjustable up to about 19" in length. With the extension, it can go up to 20". This is a unique and beautiful necklace.
