Natural grade A Jadeite pendant with a solid sterling silver bail. The pendant features a beautiful natural light dusty blue colored jadeite that is carved into a Ruyi. Ruyi is a mythological wish granting blessing amulet. It is often used in jadeite carving. This material has very little Wuji marbling towards the bottom front of the piece. It is hard to spot it. Wuji is black colored marbling often found in natural jadeite. It is not mineral inclusion. The material has icy highly translucent clarity, super fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. This is a pudgy Ruyi with excellent thickness. The carving is all done by hand. Please refer to photos for size and measurements. The jadeite is 100% natural with ZERO treatment! It comes with a solid sterling silver bail in a cherry blossom branch design. The entire pendant weighs about 9 grams. Chain NOT included.
