Natural grade A Guatemalan icy highly translucent Jadeite earrings in solid sterling silver with yellow gold overlay and cubic zirconia accents. The earrings feature 2 donut shaped jadeite which is called Ping An Kou. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In many cultures, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy. The jadeite in these earrings have icy highly translucent clarity, incredibly fine, clean and pure texture that looks like jelly, and exceptional luster. They are so clear and pure that they appear to glow, and so lustrous that they look as if they had been dipped in oil. These have beautiful light teal green color. Depending on lighting, these might appear more blue or green hue in person. Just amazing material! These are set in solid sterling silver settings with yellow gold overlay.
