Grade A natural icy jadeite carved pendant with a solid sterling silver bail. This is a nice sized pendant with excellent thickness. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. The pendant features a natural icy Guatemalan jadeite with unique color blending. It has mostly Aegean blue color, a special shade of blue found in natural Guatemalan jadeite and also known as "blue jeans". There is also subtle teal undertone and subtle purple undertone in some section of the material. This is "old mine" jadeite. Besides the beautiful colors, the material has very nice icy highly translucent clarity, super fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster! The material is so clear and clean that it appears to glow towards the edges! This is 100% natural with ZERO treatment! This jadeite material is carved into a Ruyi. Ruyi is a mythological Chinese wish-granting amulet. It is often used in jadeite jewelry designs. This pendant comes with a S925 solid sterling silver bail. The entire pendant weighs about 7 grams.
