Grade A natural Guatemalan jadeite pendant on an adjustable rope necklace. The jadeite featured is cut into a “donut” shaped blessing amulet, also known as Ping An Kou. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In Chinese culture, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy.

This is an “old mine” jadeite with very smooth and pure texture and color. It has beautiful dark blue color with teal undertone and subtle white snowflake like marbling. Depending on lighting, it can appear more green or blue in person. Despite being a thick piece, it has icy highly translucent clarity, extremely pure smooth, fine texture that looks like jelly, and exceptional luster. Light can travel through the material completely and easily. The jadeite material is 100% natural and untreated. The pendant is tied on a non-stretchy rope necklace that is adjustable up to 25.5” in length. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. The jadeite weighs about 11 grams.
