PETITE Natural grade A Guatemalan Jadeite beaded bracelet with solid sterling silver accent and closure. It features natural icy highly translucent teal colored jadeite round beads, about 4mm in size. The beads are multicolored, different pastel shades of teal, some more blue, some more green, and there are also icy white jadeite beads. Despite the colors, the beads are perfectly matched in size and quality. They all have icy highly translucent to transparent clarity, extremely fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. The the beads are so clear and pure that they appear to glow, like little light bulbs! The focal bead is a carved petite sized Pixiu, also made from natural teal blue colored natural Guatemalan jadeite. Pixiu is an ancient Chinese mythological creature that feeds on gold and jewels and keeps all in. Pixiu is believed to bring protection to its wearer in his/her wealth and overall well-being, and to ward off negative energy. This Pixiu is carved by hand with exquisit design and intricate details. Although small, the carving is on point and even the teeth and claws are carved out. Besides the beautiful color, the jadeite material has amazingly icy highly translucent clarity, extremely fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. It is so lustrous that it looks as if it has been dipped in oil, and appear to glow. In front of the Pixiu, there is a double coin design sterling silver charm with yellow gold overlay. All jadeite material used are 100% natural with zero treatment. The bracelet is on off white colored non-stretchy cords. It comes with a solid sterling silver hook closure in koi fish design. It also has yellow gold finish. The bracelet fits about 6.5” in length, not adjustable. The entire bracelet weighs about 6 grams. This is a petite beaded bracelet.
