Natural Guatemalan grade A icy jadeite pendant on a rope necklace with adjustable length. This material is "old mine" jadeite. It has beautiful teal blue color. Depending on lighting, the color may appear more blue or green in person. It has very nice icy highly translucent clarity, extremely fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. The material is so lustrous that it looks as if it has been dipped in oil. The material is so clear and pure that it appears to glow from within. This is 100% natural and untreated! This jadeite material is cut and carved into a standing Guanyin. Guanyin (觀音) is the goddess of mercy and considered to be the physical embodiment of compassion. The carving is done completely by hand with amazing design and beautiful and intricate details. This is not a small pendant. It measures about 43.2x19.6x5.19mm in size.
