Natural grade A Guatemalan icy jadeite carved "kind and evil" pendant on an adjustable rope necklace. This is not an overly large pendant but not small either and it has very nice thickness as well. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. The pendant features a naturally bicolored jadeite. The majority of the jadeite has beautiful dusty/grayish light teal color while a portion of the piece has dark mocha color. The dark portion of the jadeite is the rind of the jadeite which is preserved and incorporated into the carving. The rind section of the jadeite has natural surface blemishes and opaque. The rest of the jadeite has icy translucent clarity, extremely fine, pure and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. Despite the thickness, light can travel through the material completely and easily. On the backside, there are some brown colored marbling spots. There is a surface blemish above the brown marbling. Please refer to photo for details. The jadeite is 100% natural and untreated.

The jadeite is carved with a chanting buddha which represents "the kind". The mocha colored are is carved with the face of a monster which represents "the evil". The carving bears the meaning that being kind or evil can be a split-second decision. It is a reminder to be mindful. The carving is all done by hand with artful design and details. The pendant comes with a rope necklace that is fully adjustable in length up to 29”. The necklace weighs about 18 grams entirely.
