Natural grade A Guatemalan Jadeite carved Dragon pendant with an adjustable rope necklace. This is a large and very unique piece. The material has the jadeite rough or "rind" attached. It is preserved and used as the backside of the pendant. It gives the pendant a rustic look. The front center is carved into a dragon head. The pendant looks like a dragon breaking through the rocks. The carving on this piece is completely done by hand with artful design and intricate details. Just an amazing composition and execution. The jadeite has dark dusty blue color with teal undertone. Depending on lighting, the color may show more green or blue hue in person. The section that is carved has icy translucent clarity, super fine, smooth and pure texture that looks like jelly, and amazing luster. The rough section of the jadeite is opaque. So light can't shine through the material completely. Please know there may be stone lines in the rind section of the pendant. This is a large sized and weighty pendant. Please refer to the photos for the measurements. Above the pendant, there is a beautiful icy highly translucent light teal blue natural Guatemalan jadeite bead (with facets) as accent. The pendant is on a brown colored rope necklace that is adjustable up to about 26.5" in length. All jadeite material used are 100% natural with ZERO treatment!
