Natural grade A Guatemalan jadeite pendant in solid sterling silver setting with cubic zirconia accent. The pendant features a natural Guatemalan jadeite carved into a small Ping An Kou. Ping An Kou is a donut shaped blessing amulet. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In many cultures, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy. This is a small Ping An Kou, about 15.5x15.5mm in size and 2.8mm in thickness. The jadeite material has very nice icy highly translucent clarity, super fine, clean and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and excellent luster. It has pastel teal green color with dusty green undertone. Depending on lighting, the color of the jadeite may appear more blue or green in person. The jadeite is attached to a solid sterling silver setting with cubic zirconia accent. In the bail, there is also a small natural Guatemalan vibrant green jadeite cabochon.
