Natural Guatemalan grade A jadeite pendant on an adjustable rope necklace. This is not a large pendant but with nice thickness. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. The jadeite material has beautiful light teal blue color with subtle dusty blue undertone. Depending on lighting, the color may appear more blue or green in person. The material has icy translucent clarity, super fine, smooth and pure texture and outstanding luster! It is carved into a Ping An Kou which is a donut shaped blessing amulet. It symbolizes safety and good luck. This Ping An Kou has a stunning lotus flower carved on top of the donut and an interlocked teardrop at the bottom of the donut. The interlocking teardrop is carved entirely attached with the Ping An Kou. This type of carving is time-consuming, and demands precision, and generates a lot of waste. Only highly skilled carving artisans can achieve it. The carving is all done by hand with intricate details. Even the backside of the piece is carved as well, very beautiful and unique design! This is 100% natural with ZERO treatment! The necklace weighs about 10 grams entirely. The pendant is on a dark brown colored rope necklace that is fully adjustable up to 27" in length.
