Natural grade A Guatemalan jadeite Ping An Kou pendant on an adjustable rope necklace. Ping An Kou is a donut shaped blessing amulet. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In many cultures, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy.

This is not a large Ping An Kou but with outstanding luster. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. It is a retro-style modified Ping An Kou. Instead of being round, it is slightly oval shaped. The jadeite has beautiful dusty blue color, almost like blueberry color and with subtle green marbling. The material has icy highly translucent clarity, super fine, smooth and pure texture that looks like jelly and outstanding luster. Despite the unusual thickness, light can travel through the material entirely and easily. The jadeite used is 100% natural and genuine with ZERO enhancement.
