Natural Guatemalan grade A jadeite carved pendant with a solid sterling silver bail. The jadeite material has beautiful light blue color with subtle teal undertone. There is a small patch of bright yellow marbling on the side of the piece. It is carved into a Ping An Kou which is a donut shaped blessing amulet. It symbolizes safety and good luck. This Ping An Kou has a lotus flower carved on top of the donut. The yellow marbling was artfully incorporated into a butterfly, very beautiful design! The carving is all done by hand with intricate details. This is not a large pendant but with excellent thickness. Please refer to photos for actual measurements. It has icy translucent to highly translucent clarity. Despite the thickness, light can travel through the material completely and easily. It has super fine, smooth and pure texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster! This is 100% natural with ZERO treatment! The pendant comes with a solid sterling silver bail.
