Grade A natural Guatemalan icy Jadeite Pendant with a solid sterling silver bail. It features a natural icy jadeite that looks gray in color with very subtle pale blue undertone. This is a Wuji material. Wuji refers to black marbling found in natural jadeite. It is NOT mineral inclusion. It is often compared to Chinese traditional black and white watercolor paintings for its unique picturesque patterns. It is also believed to possess protective energy and ward off negativity.

The material is icy highly translucent, and has super fine and smooth texture that looks like jelly, and outstanding luster. The material contains dark gray marbling spots that give the gray color hue to the material. It is carved into a Chinese lute, also known as "Pipa". And there are a stunning cherry blossom branch on the front of the instrument. The backside is flat and uncarved. The carving is all done by hand with beautiful design and intricate details.
