Grade A natural Guatemalan jadeite pendant on an adjustable rope necklace. The jadeite featured is cut into a “donut” shaped blessing amulet, also known as Ping An Kou. "Ping An" in Chinese means "peace and safety" while "Kou" means "button". In Chinese culture, it symbolizes safety and good luck, typically used for protection and warding off negative energy.

This is an “old mine” jadeite with super smooth and pure texture. It has beautiful Aegean blue color with subtle white marbling. Aegean blue is a unique shade of blue found in natural Guatemalan jadeite, also known as "blue jeans". The material has icy highly translucent clarity, super pure, smooth, and fine texture that looks like jelly, and exceptional luster. This is not a large sized pendant but with excellent thickness. It is about 24mm in size and 6.8mm in thickness, which is well over the standard donut thickness (5 mm). Despite the thickness, light can travel through the donut completely and easily. Depending on lighting, it can appear more green or blue in person. The jadeite material is 100% natural untreated. The pendant is tied on a non-stretchy khaki colored rope necklace that is adjustable up to 24.5” in length. Please refer to photos for actual measurements and details.
